| We (middle aged parents and our 12 & 15 yr old girls) have stayed at this sunny La Quinta for about 5 years now. Even though the room is large enough for only 2 dbl beds and no pull-out couch, we were quite comfortable. The public areas make up for it-- these are light-filled and pleasantly appointed with wicker and tropical/Mexican-style furnishings, with pretty views of its garden, gazebo & pool, and lovely landscaping throughout. The included breakfast includes make-your-own malt waffles, yoghurts, fruit, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, and assorted juices, tea & coffee. A warning to the Starbucks-addicted: coffee in Texas is surprisingly thin.

| Hotel was ok. I was furious with expedia because I did not understand cancellation details. I will never book with expedia for hotel again unless I am positive about cancellation details. bed a little lumpy but all in all satisfactory

| The hotel is in need of some repairs to maintain its high standards. It was still very comfortable and nice, but not as nice as it has been in the past. It's just time to refresh it a little.

| I found the hotel staff to be very difficult to work with. I was traveling on business, and had to extend my stay for an extra night. I went down to the front desk the night before I was orginally supposed to check out to reserve my room for the extra night. It turns out the girl didn't update the hotel's records in the computer and when I came back to the hotel my keycard had been deactivated, and the hotel staff had been poking around my room with all of my belongings because my check out date wasn't updated. I was very upset about the whole situation, and felt it could have been easily avoided.

| A clean, modern, suite hotel close to good restaurants. Easy access to I-20. Too many slamming doors to be completely comfortable.
