| Having made many trips to Hong Kong we were very pleased with the Rosedale. The price was fairly reasonable. We appreciated the free internet. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety. The location was good. We loved the bed and bedding! The room was a little small but adequate. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. A great find!

| Rosedale is well situated on Hong Kong Island, being close to the shopping areas and transportation. You don't even need to eat breakfast at the hotel; there are so many places that you can eat nearby or buy some food supplies that you save by not eating at the hotel. Still, the hotel is very good in terms of quality and value. My only complaint was that the broadband service required me to obtain a login and password about every 2-3 days, despite the reception desk telling me that they were good for the duration of my stay. It was quite frustrating to try to get onto the internet, only to find that my "account" had expired, and I had to go back down and get a new login/password.

| Although the key card operated elevator never accepted our key cards, and we had to get them replaced almost every time we came and went, and the staff at the front desk muddled our room number/keys, and the bell hop failed to deliver our bags (we noticed them still sitting at the counter 6 hours later, after returning from sightseeing)... I STILL RECOMMEND this hotel, because of its simple tastefulness, convenient location, and excellent value. The rooms are small but nicely appointed, and even elegant.
