| free wireless worked great, and the breakfast spread was better than expected. Room was good sized by NY standards and comfortable - no AC though, so you might want to reconsider if you're visiting during a heat wave. Staff was nice, too. Nothing outstanding, but no complaints either.

| The only thing that was not good was that the elevators were not air conditioned in the middle of a heat wave. Otherwise, all was great for a last minute stay. I especially liked the convenience of the breakfast just off the lobby that was included with our stay each morning. The room was very comfortable. Very good service during breakfast and the people at the desk were very helpful and polite. Also the ability to phone and order room service from the local deli/pizza shop (the gyro's were great) for a late evening snake after a busy day walking, sightseeing and shopping was convenient. Very good location within walking distance to everything. No ice bucket in our room and didn't see an ice machines so be prepared for that. This is by no means a luxury hotel but really works well last minute.

| The location was perfect for a night out on the town. The hotel is directly above Latin Quarters and a couple blocks from 52nd and 2nd's strip of bars. The beds were really comfy, the bathroom could have been cleaner, and the room was a little noisy in the morning(5th floor)-higher up would be more quiet of course...but I would definitely recommend. The staff was very nice and the bell had no problem hanging onto our bags all day,the day of checkout so we could go shopping...The garage was super close to the hotel...and $35 for 24 hours of parking is not bad in Manhattan too.

| Very nicely decorated room. We requested a queen bed and got a king, room was very spacious for NYC. Came w/ a mini fridge, and a TV w/VCR. Only complaint was that the bathroom floor needed to be swept. No problems with noise, we were on the tenth floor. Breakfast was a VERY nice continental.
