Features
What to expect: Endowed with a name invoking the Rat Pack Era, the Riviera keeps ties with its past while offering modern services at moderate prices. It emphasizes grace rather than flash, attracting adult guests seeking pleasure without having to endure crowds of sightseers surging through the casino and public areas. Amenity highlights: In a tranquil, sunny courtyard bordered by a lush grass sunning area, a large pool furnishes hot-weather relief. For pampering, a spa offers a fitness center, massage, body treatments, tanning facility, a women's sauna, and a men's steam room. Shoppers have an arcade to explore. Tennis players enjoy two complimentary lighted courts. Insider tip: Like all other Las Vegas casinos, the Riviera offers free membership in a player's club that rewards gaming play with points redeemable for cash and comps. Unlike most casinos, however, here players don't have to line up to obtain their rewards at a desk but can utilize ATM-like kiosks.

| I was a guest at the Riviera hotel for a convention and was very happy with my stay! It has all you need for comfort and a great time. The staff was great, the rooms, though not new, were pleasantly clean and comfortable. I would definately stay again.

| When I go to Vegas I look forward to my stay at the Riveria. I have never been dissapointed with the room, the service the food and the staff. I recommend the Riv for anyone who dosen't like all the crowds at the other end of the strip. It's a lucky hotel and I don't have to search for good food. I would rate Kristofer's steak House as A #1 and the chilled truffels at the end of the meal(at no cost) an outstanding touch.

| This hotel was a disappointment. I would never have stayed here if it was not for the convention I was attending. The management clearly did not care if you were satisfied or not. We had a problem that any concerned manager would have care about...not this group. There are too many beautiful hotels in Las Vegas. Don't waste your time here.

| This is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed, begining with rude employees at the front desk, managers that do not really care if there is a problem. Room was fairly clean, except they do not change your sheets and we stayed for 5 days. Towels are as good as the rags u wipe your cars with, the maid never once replaced the plastic cups they give in your room, never replaced the plastic liner for the ice bucket in your room. They had a "roach" problem at their food court, which we let management know and they were not too concerned about, we had a large group stay at the hotel and all 40 people were very disgusted. we ended up eating across the street all the time. The pool is about the only good thing they have going, kids loved it and they do have lifeguard at all times. However the pool opens after 11 am and closes at 7 p.m which is not so good, especially after 116 degrees all day long. for gamblers, the casino basically empty, you get to choose any machine you would like at any time or any day of the week. to call the operator be ready to let the phone ring about 50 times before they decide to pick up the phone.

| Nice place to stay away from all the crowds. Restraunts on the property where good, but restraunts advertised in food court where not all there, and has not been updated. Pushy sales people at all doors trying to get you on a time shares program. Staff was friendly, and helpfull.

| I would not stay at this hotel again unless they comp me a room, which is highly unlikely. Good if you're on a budget, but don't expect anything fancy. We had rude service at check-in, no one offered to carry our bags...or anyone else's for that matter. It was a long walk to the room and I was struggling with my bags the entire way. The workers were very pushy trying to get you to play $40 of slots for $20 and other gimmicks throughout the casino. Also,a timeshare booth is set up just outside the buffet, so you are badgered while you are waiting in line.. also, the buffett was nothing spectacular. Champagne dinner was champagne in half of a plastic glass thrown on your table while you're in line. The rooms were clean, but NO extras. No coffee pot,no mini-bar. This hotel was just not for me.

| This hotel pleasantly surprised me. I had seen many negative reviews so I was a little apprehensive. For a hotel that is 50 years old it is well kept. I stayed in a standard room of the Monaco Tower, which gave me a view of the pool area and a nice view of the strip at night. The buffet was good, and the gambling was all right I broke even. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. If you are on a budget and not a have to stay at the top of the line hotel person, then this is the place for you.

| This hotel is good considering the price. Staff is very nice and helpful. Pool is clean and nice and the food is good. I did not gamble too much but the casino seemed fun. Good place to stay if you want a quiet experience in Vegas. The only set back is the distance to the nice clubs. I'm 21 and I had to walk a good distance to get to the really good nightlife. It is walkable yet if you want to be close to the nightlife I would choose a different hotel but otherwise this hotel is great! I would stay in this hotel again.

| Bell Service just looked at us when we pulled up. I got my own cart and loaded our 11 pieces of luggage. As I entered the hotel with the cart a bell person grabbed the cart away from me and asked where I wanted my luggage dumped and I was not supposed to be handling their carts. I told him to dump it there in the middle of the floor and he did! Check in went just as bad. I already paid for our room ahead of time and all we had to do was show up. Check in took me to three different people and 20 minutes. I complained about the bell service to the front desk and they didn't even acknowledge a problem. We went to the room and it was dirty and the bed was unmade. We called the front desk and was told someone would be there soon. Two hours after check-in time we could get into what they called a clean room. It still was not. Complaints to the front desk were met with no concern. Most of the hotel was dirty and musty smelling.
