Friday's Station Steak & Seafood Grill - Named after the Lake Tahoe Pony Express stop, this steak and seafood restaurant serves dinner nightly on the hotel's top floor. Diners are surrounded by wood paneling, hickory furniture, and views from every table.
American River Café - Set amidst faux rock formations, complete with a flowing river and two waterfalls, this casino coffee shop is open 24 hours. In addition to breakfast served round the clock, specialties include chicken pot pie, beef stew, burgers, and sandwiches. Forest Buffet - Located on Harrah's top floor, the Forest Buffet offers great views and an exhibition-style kitchen. Menu options include brick-oven baked pizza, an Italian pasta bar, an Asian wok station, a French rotisserie, three salad bars, and a dessert station. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. North Beach Deli - This self-serve deli sells large meaty sandwiches on freshly baked home-style bread, along with deli salads, hot dogs, soup, and chili. Open for lunch and dinner daily. Club Cappuccino - This lobby café serves a variety of espresso drinks and freshly baked pastries. Ice Creamery - Located in the retail corridor next to the lobby, this ice-cream parlor offers cones, cups, sundaes, and shakes. Altitude - When not hosting concerts, the South Shore Room morphs into Altitude, a nightclub featuring overstuffed leather sofas, dance music, lighting effects, go-go dancers, and drink specials. There's even an oxygen bar. Open Thursday through Sunday from 10 PM. Casino Center Stage - This casino-floor lounge features drinks and dancing—to disco, R&B, and soul—Tuesday through Saturday. California Bar - Video poker games, specialty drinks, and energetic bartenders are highlights at this bar-in-the-round at the casino. Rendezvous Lounge - This little spot tucked away in a corner of the casino features cocktails and piano entertainment nightly. Russ McLennan's Sports Bar - Lined with TV screens, this small casino bar offers beer, wine, and cocktails.
