The hotel and staff were friendly and helpful, and the rates most reasonable. I highly recommend the hotel, as well as the restaurant located on the property. Our only complaint was that we were not very close to old town Quebec, which is not a fault of the hotel.

We spent one night at the hotel and had to catch a 5:45am flight. The hotel cut the power (and the alarm clocks, air conditioning and phones) at 1am until we left at 4am. We were told about this after we checked in (although some guests that I met in the hall were not told about it), but were not aware that there was no power backup at all. Only the hall lights were on. We should have at least been given a flashlight and told to run the AC on high.

Hotel was not very clean. Dust in hallways. Hotel and rooms smelled of cigarette smoke despite room being non-smoking. No dining room available except for a $12.00 buffet breakfast. Pool was over chlorinated and smelled throughout lobby. old mattresses outside hotel in what used to be fountain and garden area. This are was run down and not functioning.
