| DC-area hotels were completely booked but we managed to find a room thanks to Expedia. The Days Inn was friendly and clean enough but pricey given the accommodations (relative to DC). Good location in a nice neighborhood with nearby shopping & restaurants. Most importantly: excellent proximity to subway and taxis.

| I was given a room that was already occupied (as I discovered when I opened the door of my room). I was able to switch my room but the front desk offered no apology for their mistake. Besides that, it was OK but not great.

| Hotel is well located for a visitor to Washington - shops and restaurants are nearby as is the Metro to other sights in the city. The hotel rooms are absolutely clean and comfortable. The front desk service is pleasant , but understaffed, occasioning some delays from time to time if you are an impatient type.

| Great location:very close to metro stop so easy to get anywhere from there; also; numerous nearby restaurants to choose from; plus large drugstore (the kind which is almost a supermarket!) I would certainly stay there again when in D.C.

| Comfortable, close to Metro and several restaurants, and reasonably quiet. Wireless internet in all rooms, and a helpful staff. For business travel, this works very well.

| Was very pleased with the hotel. Price was resonable for a DC hotel during Cherry Blosson Festival. Location excellent. We parked the car in the hotel-affiliated lot at no cost and took the metro everywhere. The station was a pleasant block and 1/2 walk. Had a delicious breakfast at the "Epicurian"cafeteria conveniently located on the way to the metro. Wonderfull coffee shop next to the metro stairs. Great Italian restaurant right next to the hotel as well.

| The hotel room was dirty. The bathtub had dark "fresh" spots, carpet was filthy and blankets and bedspreads had holes in them. Hallways in terrible shape and also dirty. My sons and I had to leave the hotel. The hotel manager was not in, but frontdesk employee was polite and refunded our money. He did not seem surprised and other guests were complaining about the same things.
