| We liked this hotel. The staff was really nice and helpful. The complimentary breafast was decent. There were great shops and restaurants within walking distance and it was way cheaper than Manhatten. We felt safe walking around in the evening. The subway stop to Manhatten is a short walk should you desire to check out the Big city. The hotel itself could use a little updating but our room was clean and everything worked. We used the valet parking but you could probably find street parking if you don't mind driving around to look. Check out the restaurant "Sophia" on 3rd street. The food was fabulous and it's a 5 minute walk.

| I was visiting family in Brooklyn and found this to be the cheapest option without going out to one of the airports. The staff was fine as was the room. Proximity to subway was helpful. Overall, a solid B-. Don't go there looking for glitz - that's in Manhattan. One note is that my reservation didn't get forwarded to the hotel so I had to call Expedia and have them fax it to the hotel. This worked fine, but be sure to call the hotel to confirm. Parking on the area streets is probably the best bet on the weekends - using the hotel valet can be time consuming and costly. Also our queen bed that I reserved online was not available at the "Expedia" price when we got to the hotel. You might want to call the hotel directly for a reservation if that is important to you - we made do with the double beds. Also don't expect to get a smoking room if you reserve one online.
