The small, locally owned and managed Glencastle is located on the northwest coast of the lush island of St. Lucia, with courtesy shuttle service twice daily to two white-sand beaches nearby. The National Cricket Stadium, set to host the 2007 World Cup, is just five minutes away. On site, the hotel offers two outdoor pools, one with an adjoining poolside bar and barbecue area. For those who prefer to mix business and pleasure, there are conference rooms and secretarial services available, and dial-up Internet access is available in the lobby for an additional charge. Guest parking is complimentary.

Roof-Top Gazebo Bar - This bar next to the rooftop pool serves tropical drinks and snacks from morning ’til night and is a wonderful spot for watching the dramatic Caribbean sunsets.

| The Hotel was rather clean and the rooms were quite comfortable. However, there was no activities desk so you had to get accustomed to using tht telephone directory to book your own tours. The restaurant at the hotel was not that impressive at all. The Buffet was rather sparse and not well presented. Still a rather pleasant hotel though.

| As we were attending the Jazz festival, our hotel accommodation was just somewhere for us to lay our heads at night and the hotel fit that requirement. There were some water pressure issues the night we checked in but they went away after the fist night. Breakfast was eaten at the hotel and again it was adequate. I believe we received what we paid for and what we expected.

| Comfortable, quiet and well kept. Very friendly helpful staff. Travel light cause there are no elevators. Near tourist stuff but far from capital and government buildings.

| I only stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The only thing I can remember well is that the rooms are so close together that people going down the stairs peek into your room, people in the next room peek into your room, and the fact that the hotel is very very noisy at night and early in the morning. The front desk thought that the noise was not normal.The restaurant was inadequate, though the lady there was most accomodative of my vegetarian request.
