I guess when it comes to this hotel you get what you pay for...if your budget is tight it's probably the best way to go, but if you have some cash to spare I would recommend that you splerge on a better quality hotel.

This hotel really showed signs of age. It was dirty-the balcony smelled of urine- and service was terrible. We had to constantly ask for clean linen. I would not stay here again.

The hotel itself was just fine for me and my friend, friendly staff, nice pool and restaurant if you need a day just staying at the hotel. Walking distance from Downtown- such as restaurants, the straw market, the pirat museum, ferry to paradise island etc.

the hotel is not the nicest in the island, but it is in a good location ( close to downtown and right across the street form the beach) The rooms are ok and the staff is pretty friendly. If you are oging out a lot and basiclly just going to the hotel to sleep this is a great choice and AFFORDABLE

This hotel was what I expected for the price. Inexpensive but very close and convienent to all attractions, especially downtown (2 minutes) and cable beach (15 minutes). The rooms were not up to date, so if you expect a four star hotel, don't stay here. If you want a bargain hotel with close proximity, this one's for you. Pools were very nice, but take the bus ($1) to cable beach. Junkanoo beach is very rocky.

Like the others have said, you get what you pay for. The toilet ran all night, bugs in the hotel restaurant, heavy traffic on the street between hotel and beach. BUT, easy access to island buses, downtown, Fish Fry (Arawak), Ardastra Gardens, etc. Take a $1 bus to Cable Beach or to the Paradise Island Bridge - don't bother with the beach out front (rocky, hangout for homeless and underemployed...).

It would be a little more convenient for travelers if checking was a lot earlier rather than 4:00 p.m. After a long trip especially if it involves an over night stay in Florida, one just wants and needs to rest. Getting early into Bahamas and not being able to rest, relax and get changed because check-in is not until 4:00 p.m is very inconvenient.
