| this hotel was luxurious! down comforters, flat screen tv, brand new (renovated) room with every amenity you could need. the lobby/bar area was very comfortable and stylish. the hotel offered a buffet breakfast that was fabulous. room service (dinner) arrived very quickly and was delicious. the "tv menu" was reasonably priced and offered a full meal- the seafood soup and grilled veal steak was an excellent choice! the hotel restaraunt is pricy for dinner- be prepared to spend a lot of money there, but you will receive excellent service and food. the hotel is a convenient location (yet quiet)to walk to the Guggenheim museum or to the metro. we would definely go back or look for another Silken hotel to stay in based on our experience here.
