Had an excellent three day stay in May 2006. Great service, beautiful room with a great view overlooking the harbor. What a great way to experience Hong Kong for the first time. Only minor negative was the broadband service. The hotel filter would not allow me to access my company's server in the states. Perhaps I could have found a way around it if I had engaged hotel tech support, but it was a minor matter.

This hotel, located in the heart of Hong Kong Island, is convenient to everything. Its "old world" elegance is complimented with exceptional service. I would highly recommend this hotel as the best in central Hong Kong.

People that work at this hotel are very friendly. On Christmas Eve, they surprised you with a beautiful stocking filled with candies. On Christmas day, they delivered a nice box with cookies for afternoon tea. It is nice to be pampered.

Size of the room was small, but comfortable. They gave great care of every tiny details so the best aspect of this hotel would be service. Moreover, it was very very conveniently located, it took just a few steps away from the metro station.
