| Certainly not our first choice, but a busy weekend found no vacancies at preferred lodging. Allowing pets is a convenience to some, but I would not feel comfortable in a room where dogs had been the night before. As non-smokers, the first thing we noticed was the wretched cigarette smoke odors in lobby, elevator, and corridor. Disgusting. Our non-smoking room was happily quite nice, relatively clean and functional. Our room key cards had to be reprogrammed each day of a 3-night stay, an annoyance. The chambermaid was courteous and accommodating, cleaning the room early in the day. The rest of the staff seemed less than interested in welcoming guests. As for a breakfast, expect very little and you'll get exactly that.

| This hotel did not live up to other hotels in its category. The front desk clerk (which it turned out was the property owner) was unfriendly at check-in and not at all helpful. Aside from the attitude received at check-in, we were willing to give the room a chance. But, it turned out the beds were uncomfortable, the TV didn't work properly, and the request for a cot in the room had to be voiced twice. In all, we would probably not return to this particular hotel.
