| The Fairfield Inn is VERY conveniently located in Scarborough. The staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered. The hotel could really use a makeover: the carpets and wallpaper in the rooms made me cringe (in a fear of germs way). All in all, I'd stay there again.

| If you are looking for an inexpensive, but not cheap or cheesy hotel, this is it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast was good. The Maine Mall is right down the road, and getting to Portland is quick and easy. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside is that our non-smoking room smelled a little smoky when we first arrived. However, I'm also pregnant, so I can smell anything.

| There were positive and negative aspects of this hotel. Our biggest disappointment came when they did not honor our requested booking of a king size bed. We were misled at first to believe they did not have king size beds and then told there were none available. We were given a double room which was also equipped for handicapped people. They did provide a nice breakfast each morning. However the dining area was extremely small and crowded each day. We were pleased with Expedia's response to our problem and their solution for the hotel's failure to honor our room selection.

| Our stay in this hotel was great. The little touches made it even better. We enjoyed the warm, freshly baked cookies, the friendliness of the staff, the new crisp clean sheets and soft pillows, the big blueberry muffins and other goodies for breakfast and the free newspaper. Keep up the good work!

| Stayed 2 nights. The heat was difficult to regulate and required getting up several times in the night to adjust it. The trucks on the nearby interstate really bothered one of us. The breakfast was really superb in quantity and very good in quality. If I had to do it all over again, I'd stay in downtown Portland because that's where all the good restaurants and stores are.

| My husband and I stayed at this hotel for only one night. The hotel was extremely clean. I love the 24 hour coffee. We ended up having to stay up way later than expected so the coffee came in handy. The best part was it was easy to find and since we were having to travel to Portland for a wedding, we were pleased that we didn't have a very far drive. The king size bed was very cozy and this is the first time my husband didn't complain about the hotel bed. We would definetly stay here again.
