| We were first of all impressed with the easy accessability from the highway. The staff was efficient and gracious and I loved the warm cokies we received on arrival. I booked online and and our room contained two double beds. Our request for a king size bed was honored immediately. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. When we ordered the shuttle, it arrived promptly. This was my first visit to Portland and I can't wait to go back. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat.

| The only positive thing I can say about our one night stay at this hotel is the offer of a warm chocolate chip cookie upon check in at the front desk. After that it all went downhill. Our bathroon sink faucet was broken and when I reported it, I was told that I was out of luck because maintenance had left for the day and the hotel was full, therefore there were no rooms for us to be switched to. Our room had a strong mildew smell from the leaking a/c which left a giant wet spot on the rug and worst of all, our sheets smelled of urine. When I reported all of this at check out, I received an apology from the person at the desk. No compensation whatsoever. We'll never stay there again.

| The Hotel Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable for my wife and I but would have been very small if any of our children had been with us. The bathroom felt a little old and some fixtures leaked a bit, but overall we had a very positive experience and would stay there again.

| It was the first time I stayed at a Doubletree. I asked to have a late arrival - getting in after 2 AM. After a long drive I was tired, but pleasantly met at the front desk by a smiling face and a room key awaiting for me. I couldn't ask for more.

| The hotel was well maintained and clean as is to be expected at any hotel. What separated this hotel for others I have stayed at was how friendly the staff was. From the front desk to the bartenders and room service. They were honestly concerned about us.

| The bedding is incredibly comfortable. You are in for a treat! This location is great for shopping at the Maine Mall, Freeport outlets or wandering around Portland's Old Port.
