| Modest but reasonable. Be careful when you take a shower! You may mistake the temperature control (inside knob) for the water volume control (outside knob). I did, and panicked when the water went scalding hot, instead of shutting off. Result: I slipped and fell. Here's a plus: the hotel is next to a little park (St. James's Gardens) and you can actually open the window and get some fresh air.

| The location of the hotel isn't the greatest. It's about 5 minutes walk to the tube station, and we felt safe getting to the hotel, just don't wander to the backside of the hotel like we did when we were looking for the hotel. The room was definitely better than I thought. It's about the same size as an American hotel room, which is unusual in London, and it has a lot of amenities. The hotel doesn't have A/C in the room, and London was in a middle of a heat wave when we were there. I don't think the maid changed out the towels at all during the 4 nights we were there, she just kept hanging the same ones back on the rack. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because it was way over priced. You can do much better a little way away at the Euston station.

| This hotel was a lot nicer than I expected. Our room was fairly spacious and very clean. Less than a block from Euston Station so travel was VERY easy. Hotel staff not very big on customer service. Our room keys worked about 25% of the time and it took forever to fix. Overall, pretty comfortable.

| Very good location, only 5 minutes walk from Euston Station. Rooms are a decent size and highly appointed - it even has an iron board. The only thing missing was a small fridge.

| The lobby and bar looked wonderful but once we checked in we found that the rooms were very small. There were no tissues, ice bucket or coffee maker and the room smelled old. In fact we watched the maid spray air freshener as we were checking in. The matress was old, lumpy and hard. We had a hard time dealing with almost everyone on the staff because no one was from England adn they all spoke with heavy accents and had a hard time understanding English. There were no vending machines and they sent us to the train station down the road to get bottled / canned soda's and bottled water for our sight seeing trips. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for the price.
