| Although the hotel is in need of some remodeling, we would consider staying there again. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was always pleasant. We really enjoyed the private beach behind the hotel. Within 5 minutes of getting there on the first night, we were suprised to see dolphins jumping in the water just a short distance off shore. The hotel is in an excellent location. The surrounding area is called "Ocean View". There were tons of new and beautiful condos being built all over. I would love to live in that area!!! You can also drive down Shore drive and be in Virginia Beach within a half an hour. It is more scenic that way then taking the highway.

| Do not stay in this hotel unless you absoultely cannot afford anything else. While I will admit that I am a smoker, that doesn't mean that I have to be subjected to rooms that have burn holes in the comforters and curtains. The bathroom tiles were black with mildew and the curtains not only had burn holes on them, but also had mold on them. It was a horrible experience, and one I will not likely repeat. While it does have a beach view, the beach is not accessible and if you're a smoker, forget it. You get to face the street which looks like a slum.

| The overall grounds and view were great. The bedroom area was also good but the bathrooms badly needed to be remodeled.
