| *-* Aug 29 - Dec 31, 2005 *-* The Hotel is currently undergoing renovations, requiring temporary closure of the pool. During this time, guests may use the pool at the Four Seasons Los Angeles (only a short, complimentary, 5 minute ride). It's a magnificent makeover! Wolfgang Puck is preparing the Hotel's former dining Room to launch his new restaurant and bar, we are in the midst of a major expansion of our Spa, Fitness Center and pool area. Located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive. Step outside our front door and onto some of the most exciting shopping, dining and art galleries in the world. Arrange to be met at the gate and escorted in a chauffeured luxury sedan or limousine for a moderate fee. | What else could be said? of course it is expensive, but believe me, it is really worth it. Staff is cool, friendly and cortueous. Elegant and sofisticated hotel on the best location in LA. Not full of people trying to catch a glimpse of celebrities or stars, excellent service, gorgeous rooms, superb room service. Even the apples that are offered at the fornt desk are delicious! Travel tip? if you wake up early in the morning, take a couple of apples with you, walk around Rodeo Drive before stores open, head back to the Wilshire and grab a nice breakfast before hitting this shopping heaven.
