| This hotel was alright, nothing special. It had an odor that everything ended up smelling like by the time we left. A mixture of cigarette smoke and mildew. On the positive side, it did have a very nice breakfast buffet and the staff was very friendly.

| It wasn't exceptional hotel, but it was good enough. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. The breakfast was the best because it was practically full service . . . !!

| Not bad, for a lower priced, 1.5 Star hotel. Was quiet, with adequate service, polite staff, decent breakfast. Only significant problem was that the bathroom ceiling light didn't work, even with new bulbs, so they gave us a different room, which had one lamp not working. This time a new light bulb solved it.

| The lady in the serving room was rude. And the breakfast wasn't always ready when it was suppossed to be. Also, the second night we stayed the cleaning sevice left the pillow case but, not the pillow (not a big deal). However, a couple days later there were no towels, so upon asking we were told there should be the room was just cleaned. One towels we were given looked clean but, the other had fresh blood on it like it was never washed, we were disgusted. And the halls and entrance never looked vaccumed.

| We enjoyed our stay and didn't mind the 45 min. drive to Chicago each day. Time it right and you can avoid the heavy traffic in and out. It was so much cheaper than staying in the big city that we didn't care about the extra gas to go back and forth. Great free breakfast buffet. The best we have seen anywhere, they really put out the food.

| Hotel was OK other than these problems. Free breakfast in the room book states it is till 9:30AM. We went to breakfast at 9:05. Their was very little food there. I ask the manager at the desk and she said they stop cooking at 9:00AM and we were out of luck. The room had only 2 towels in it. The pool had no towels and the floor was so wet it was like walking on ice.

| I reserved this hotel b/c it was the only one in the area with availability, but wasn't expecting much since it was only 1.5 stars. When we arrived (late in the evening) we were greeted by wooden walls and a gorgeous chandalier in the entry way and a very helpful staff. The surprise continental breakfast had eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. The only negative is that I reserved a non-smoking room and my room still smelled like smoke. But all in all, very impressive. I would definitely stay there again.

| This motel generally was an older motel that has nto been kept up. Examples of my room: cracked sink (major) - bathroom door would not close without pulling on the handle sideways HARD. Sheets were well worn. Many doors had evidence of damage (dented). Second floor side entrance door would not open (card lock system not working) - first floor side entrance door was broken. Breakfast coffe container handle broken - toaster handle missing. Had heard that Lees was a good motel but that was in the past. I think they are skimping on their upkeep and maintenance.
