| Excellent access to both major highways from Phoenix to Apache Jct. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Restaurant service could have been better but the food was good. Very quiet and relaxing. Will definately stay with them again on my next trip to the greater Phoenix area.

| I was only there for one night - I think it is more appropriate (at least in the suite I was in which was away from the main pool/restaurant) for longer stays.

| We chose this hotel becuase if you search the internet for the best honeymoon suites in Phx the Arizona Golf Resort comes up. I made one request, to be able to get into my room a little early (tried at 2pm) so I could set things up and put away our luggage. The was our wedding day so this did not seem to much to ask. They could not give me a key becuase apparently not 1 suite in the entire place was ready at that time. So I left my bag and asked that they put it in the room for me, not thinking that I had to go back to the desk to get a key that night which is not exactly what I wanted to do with my new bride waiting in the limo. So do you think the bag was in the room, of course not. So I had to call down for it while again we are inconvenienced on our wedding night. The room must have been last renovated in the early 80's. The wallpaper was pealing, the paint was stained, the toilet (no lie) was sitting about 1 inch above the tile floor with caulking covering some obvious repair, and it was crooked when you sat down! There was no mini bar, I can't remember the last hotel room I was in without a mini bar. Our room service breakfast the next morning was pretty much cold when it arrived. We made the best of things as it was a special night for us. The next morning when we checked out the 2 ladies at the desk never even asked "How was your stay". I just politely checked out and plan on writting a letter to somebody. DO NOT go to this resort, you will be dissapointed.

| Certainly not a 5 star resort but if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with a very nice bar (half price appetizers before 6:30)and an easy round of golf try Arizona Golf Resort. You won't be pampered but you won't over pay either. Our bed was very comfortable and the room large with kitchenette for coffee and cereal breakfast. Plenty of stores around for food an gas. We were told the resort is 40 years old but it is very well maintained. The "locals" use the resort for their guests so that says something about the overall value. We would certainly stay again.

| The rooms are very large and quite comfortable. They are a bit older though and the shower head for instance was too low. Heated floors in the bathroom were nice though and the bed was very comfortable.
