I stayed at the Affinia Manhattan for 4 nights in one of the studio suites. I found the room to be very comfortable and spacious and the personnel to be friendly and helpful. The location isn't particularly trendy or glamorous, but it is convenient as you are easy walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times Square and the Theatre District. The kitchenette is a little small to do any complicated cooking, but does have all the amenities for making meals (and Whole Foods is just down the street!)

We'd never visited NYC before and were thrilled to find an affordable hotel, with our own bathroom, big rooms, great access to transportation when you needed it, and close enough to most places to walk! Service was fantastic - recommended some great places to eat, and always responded pretty quickly when we needed something. Room was very clean. If we ever go back, we'll be staying here again!

The hotel is in a great location central to all of Manhattan. The lobby was very nice. Service by the staff was excellent and very friendly. The room had very nice ammenities and was quite large. The bed was comfy...and there was also a nearly full size fridge, stove, dishes, microwave...better than alot of NYC apartments. Definitely will stay here again.

This hotel was truly beautiful and in the center of everything. From reading the reviews I thought I would feel like the rooms are too small and was afraid of the service, but I had a great experience. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. While I was their I went to several broadway shows and was able to walk everywhere. The kitchenette is a plus, could put my bottle of wine and enjoy it with my husband in the evenings. Will go back again next year.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and all together wonderful. We loved the view from the balcony. I have no words to describe how great the bed and pillows are. The location is blocks away from Time Square. Next time in New York we will be staying here.

Walking distance even to Javitz, and a jump across the street from Penn Station. Much more room in their rooms than Manhattan standards.

1. Convenient location to Penn Station 2. Kitchen or kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave in every room, even the little bitty studios 3. Front desk staff -- helpful and accommodating I've stayed here probably two dozen times over the years (for both business and pleasure) and have always had a good experience. I recommend the hotel highly if you're looking for convenience and good, solid service.
