Features
What to expect: Set back from the street behind formal gardens and accessible by a moving sidewalk through a cylindrical structure flanked by water flowing into ponds, the 2,814-room hotel presents a sleek art-deco appearance with glass towers accented by blue-and-white masonry. This hotel offers a traditional Las Vegas experience of stage shows, lounge entertainment, steakhouse, and low-cost buffet.

Amenity highlights: A 30-person spa tub in a tropical garden adjacent to the large pool provides social soaking. Cabanas furnished with television and telephone supply shade on the sundeck between sunning sessions. The pool complex also includes an open-air bar and a café with air-conditioned and terrace seating.

Insider tip: The Paris-themed Paris Las Vegas is connected to this hotel via an interior passage so short the two are virtually a single resort, with lots of restaurants, shops, and French-accented attractions.

Bally's Steakhouse - Reminiscent of a New England hunt club with its mahogany and green-and-white wallpaper, this restaurant features beef and seafood and serves a champagne brunch on Sundays.

al Dente - Softly lit and festooned with colored-glass hangings, this romantic trattoria specializes in classic Italian dinners.

Chang's - This pan-Asian place includes multi-course, fixed-priced dinners among its offerings.

Ichiban - Located in the shopping arcade along with a delicatessen, a chocolate shop, and a pizza parlor, this restaurant serves Japanese cuisine including sushi.

The Tequila Bar - This lively spot serves Mexican food and features a fresh guacamole station.

The Big Kitchen Buffet - This restaurant offers views of The Strip's pedestrian parade, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, and features made-to-order cooking stations.

Sidewalk Café - This 24-hour restaurant features hearty American fare such as steak-and-eggs and prime rib with King crab.

Java Coast - Pastries and coffee drinks are the attractions here.

In its third decade, the lavish stage production Jubilee! continues to supply classic Las Vegas glamour and thrills. The show includes 100 dancers, women performers in big headdresses and costumes designed by Bob Mackie, and seven specialty acts including The Sinking of the Titanic, aerialists, and acrobatic performers.

Blue seating, ceilings, lighting create a distinctive ambience at Indigo Lounge, which presents musical acts ranging from cool jazz to rock 'n' roll, and serves exotic cocktails and coffee drinks.

Comprising 67,000 square feet, the Casino provides a poker room, Caribbean poker, three-card poker, video poker, backjack, craps, roulette, pai gow, and a 250-seat sports book and race book.

ParkPlace Connection offers free membership cards that consolidate in single accounts slot and gaming-table play at five casinos: Bally's Las Vegas, Hilton Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, and Flamingo Las Vegas. Members earn cash and/or comp rewards redeemable for food, drink, and hotel services and facilities. Members also receive 10-percent discounts at gift shops owned by the hotels and may charge expenditures at all five hotels to their rooms.

If you want a nice room with basics this is the place. The front desk person at check in was really rude. If you have special requests, like non smoking rooms, be sure to get it at check in, otherwise you will spend some time going to the front desk. Housekeeping is fast and good, toiletries are limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Arrived Aug.18 and hotel had no more non smoking rooms. Staff was very helpfull and offered us the upgrade to a suite for the night. The upgrade offer was so good we decided to stay there for the week. Had great meals at the steakhouse and at Changs. Casino a little chilly but after 102 outside it felt great. The bands in the casino at night were great. Take the monorail if you want in the daytime. At night it was OK to walk. Drinks expensive at the bar if you are not playing video poker. All things considered the Ballys/Paris stay was excellent.

Check in was a breeze as there was a check in counter at the airport. Shuttle's were readily available to the hotel. Journey took us less than 20 minutes to the hotel after various stops by other passenger. Since we had our key card, we headed to our room located on the North tower. The interior was beyond what we expected. My wife was delighted and I was a little worried as she decided to rather stay in the room than flexing those machines at the casino. The hotel is connected to Paris and the gaming facilities were extremely impressive. Dining was superb. We had a blast and also a run for our money. The night bands by the casino was amazing. We had a wonderfull , memorable time here and hope the same for those who intend to visit this hotel. Bally's puts you in a cradle from time of check in to check out.

We arrived on Monday and were able to check in at 12:00 noon. We had a great room, that my son described as "awsome", and for a 17 year old, that is saying something. The staff was very friendly, and the housekeeping lady took great care of us. The buffet was great, a big selection. Bally's is centrally located, so it makes it easy to get around, and their Valet service is great. We will definitely stay there again!!!!!

I've stayed in other hotels in Vegas before but I really liked Ballys. The room was so clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on in Vegas. The hotel is in a great location to all other hotels. The pool was nice too.

Did not have my "No Smoking - King size bed" the first night so they gave a upgrade to the Suite for the night at no charge. Very good stay.

This is an art deco theme hotel. One of the few places where gamblers can see live entertainment in the Indigo lounge while in the casino. Would not recommend for the more adventure seeking/fast-paced traveler---not a real party spot.

My fiance and I are city dwelling professionals with upscale, but not over-the-top, taste. I had my concerns about Bally's because it only had 3 and a half stars and the price was so reasonable (comparatively). However, we were both very pleasantly surprised. The standard rooms were nicer than some I've stayed in on business trips (no down comforters, but not a biggy), and the location was outstanding. Bally's downside is that it has no theme, unless you consider "casino" a theme. Only complaint, our alarm clock was broken.

My husband and I took a very belated honeymoon trip to Vegas and stayed at Ballys. The staff at Ballys made our trip very relaxing and enjoyable. All of the staff seems genuinley happy to be there and have you as a guest. We too were upgraded to a suite our first night after all the standard rooms were filled. Both the suite and standard room were excellent. The standard room is nicely sized and the suite was nothing short of enourmous. We loved the location of the hotel on the strip as well. Along with the monorail station, this hotel is a great starting and ending point for viewing the strip. We never made it to the pool, but it looked very nice. Jubilee is an outstanding show! We will be staying again!

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Bally's. This was her first trip to Vegas and my second. We absolutely loved our stay at Bally's. We had booked the standard room. By the time we arrived (around midnight), they were out of standard rooms. The staff (both extremely friendly and helpful) gave us our upgraded room. The room had a fantastic view and was very clean. The air filtration in the casino was not as impressive as others, and the outside is a little bit older than some places. Since those are the only two negatives about the hotel, I would definately recommend staying their! We both agree that our next trip to Vegas will most likely be spent at Bally's!
