| My husband and I stayed at the Jimbaran Ritz Carlton for half of our honeymoon trip in June of 2006. The hotel is a beautiful, peaceful resort, with amazing views and delicious food. The level of service we received was unbelievable -- every desire and whim was fulfilled. We had a suite in the Club Lounge section, and were treated to small meals and refreshing drinks throughout the day. The staff was personable, courteous, and willing to help at all times. Our stay at the Bali Ritz was truly luxurious.

| I can highly recommend this place. I was there with my wife and 2 kids (7 and 10). We had booked 2 Club Level rooms. The hotel staff is just great and will do everything to satisfy your needs and requests. The Club level adds more personal attention from the Club Level team. The kids were too young to join us in the Club Lounge. The staff arranged for us to get free breakfast buffet and afternoon teas as an alternative. They even delivered drinks and food to the kid's room every night when they saw us passing by the lounge. Overall outstanding.

| The 184 steps to the beach (following a 5 minute shuttle ride), rocks, lack of water sports and red flag (which was flying for most of our stay)left us with two disappointed children. Whilst they enjoyed the water slides at the hotel, they became bored after a few days. The staff were friendly but there was a lack of attention to detail in service that we have come to expect from hotels of this standard. There appeared to be no managerial presence and communication with hotel guests was poor. Experienced staff were taken away from their regular duties to cater for Wedding parties (3 during our stay)leaving the more inexperienced staff to cater for other hotel guests. Watching a couple eat McDonalds in the hotel lobby in clear view of hotel staff just finished it for us and we chose to move to another hotel.

| The Club Level room at the Ritz Carlton is a fantastic service offering and the personnel are extremely helpful with your every need. We found everyone to be delightful and very accomodating to our wishes no matter the request. The hotel staff also provide a very personal touch by remembering your name in each of the restaurants, around the pool, and in the Club Lounge. The hotel property is beautiful, the restaurants provide first class dining in a beautiful open-air atmosphere and the breakfast buffet at Padi restaurant provided a full range of breakfast choices from several different cultures. We took our 2 children (ages 10 and 7) and they enjoyed the kids' pool and got to know the hotel staff supervising the kids activity areas. The staff took an interest and played games with all of the kids. Our kids made a few new friends (including the hotel staff) making their experience on the trip extra fun.
