| We were extremely disappointed with the Comfort Inn in Kanata, Ontario because they would not honor our request for a non-smoking room. The desk clerk was not accommodating, claiming that the hotel prioritized non-smoking requests from direct reservations and bumps non-smoking requests made through Expedia. We were put in a corridor that reeked of tobacco smoke. As a result the room also reeked of tobacco, and by the time we checked out our clothes smelled as well. In addition, the air conditioning did not work well, and the room was too warm all night. Also, the continental breakfast was too limited. There was no Raisin Bran or any other high fiber option.

| Good value in a predictable setting. Nice room, but located right next to a major Canadian highway, so there is some noise on the back side of the property. Also, the breakfast is pretty basic, but adequate.
