Features
What to expect: Attracting guests from Europe and North America, the resort ensures comfort with a wide range of choices at two buffet restaurants, two ŕ la carte restaurants (one is not part of the All-Inclusive plan), and activities such as volleyball, aerobics, and dance lessons that appeal across national boundaries.
Amenity highlights: Two large, two-level pools are on the grounds, one near the beach for activities and the other a "quiet pool" deep in the resort's grounds that contains a 5-meter (15-foot) water slide. Rocky in the center, the long, deep beach provides white-sand access to the Caribbean on both ends and offers plenty of room for sunning amid palm trees without guests feeling crowded.

| I guess for a 2 star hotel it will do. The hotel grounds is beautiful and the entertainment was great, but the service and food was terrible. I waited 2 hours! to get into room and waited in a very crowded, hot and humid lobby. I called for room service for extra towels a dozen times and they never came or even call you back! The outside fast food was way better than the buffet at the hotel. My daughters lost weight, the food was either tasteless, very dry or over cooked.

| I used this hotel back in 2004 for my anniversary and the family loved it. The food is outrageous. The employees are courteuous and very nice to the children travling with us. When I told my parents and children that we were going back now, they were very excited because they enjoyed the place immensely. They expecially love the pool and the show at night.

| We went during the low season which was very nice because the hotel was not crowded at all. The snorkeling on the beach was shallow, but excellent. The food selection was good in the buffets, but the quality in the restaurants that require reservations was much better. The beds were a little hard, but we didn't spend much time in our room so it didn't really matter. We really enjoyed the day trip to Santo Domingo and the horse back riding.

| We found this resort to be pretty much as described in other reviews. We were in the 2000 section. The bathrooms could use improvement and the drains in the bathtubs didn't work very well. The activity staff were all friendly. The buffets were presented beautifully and if a person couldn't find something that they liked then they are too fussy. Only one pay phone located on the property and you couldn't dial an 800 number from it, so it could get costly to call home. No ATM on the property and they one across the street breaks down frequently.

| This was my second visit to this hotel, my first room had to be changed due to broken safe, broken door and just not clean, the next room was much better but the ac can't keep up, this is a very old hotel that has been refreshed, good for the monry but pick the newest rooms. Food was very good and the shows where pretty good.
