| this hotel was prettier and classier than it appeared on the internet. staff was curteous and friendly. English spoken everywhere. beach was well maintained. food is OK . . .breakfast was good, dinner buffet was less than desirable. food is bland and overcooked. There is a limited "all inclusive" drink/food menu - most drink items (call drinks) and a sit down meal are extra.

| The gounds are absolutely stunningly beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the nightly entertainment is great fun. We have been three years in a row to the same hotel and have enjoyed it each and every year.

| The hotel did not inform us that we could eat at the ala carte restaurant one time during out stay. They were often out of water glasses, many times you would get your water at the end of your meal. The food was average. Rooms were ok, very small bathrooms. There was no disco, as stated.

| The trip to the hotel was an adventure. It takes about 1.5 hours from the Liberia Airport over poorly maintained roads. The hotel itself is a spot of paradise on a dusty and bumpy road. This vacation is for the young at heart and somewhat adventurous traveler. Hotel food and drinks were good (not bad - not excellent)at this all inclusive. Local attractions are very interesting and worthwhile but involve 1 to 1.5 hours of travel on the bumpy roads. Las Vegas and Cancun this is not but the weather in March was perfect (86-86 F - low humidity) right on the Pacific Ocean National seashore park. This was a great getaway for couples or familkies with teenagers. Would return tommorrow.

| If you can get beyond the bad roads there and the reception desk, you will have a good time. The people at the reception desk are cold and not very helpful. The rest of the staff are great. The food was one of the best we've had at resorts.I had seen previous reviews and many had said the food was just ok.They must have changed the menu since those people were there. The grounds of the resort are very nice and the hotel it self is too.Rooms had some electrical problems......we would blow a fuse when the air was on and we used a blow dryer. The beach is beautiful.Nothing to do outside of the resort though. The town of Tamrindo has nothing to offer. You can go on the day trips, but they kill a whole day most of the time.Glad we went....it was a good experience.Do'nt eat or drink food outside of the resort. On our way home I let my guard down and 2 of my kids eat chicken sandwiches at the airport and got severly ill after we came home.Water and food were not a problem at the resort it self.Go, be careful, and you will have a good time.

| Good Hotel. Staff not all that friendly/willing to do much for you. Rooms were not together as promised and the answer was "oh well - nothing we can do" After that the stay was great - very nice pool, beach was awesome, food was adequate to good - nothing bad Would go back again - very relaxing

| This hotel is located 2km from town, away from the crowd in a quieter beach in playa Langosta. Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Hotel price includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet, which we think is good value. We enjoyed the stay very much.

| A small casual resort with a small pool. One restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Hamburgers, pizza & chips/nachos all day at the pool bar. Found all the staff to be very sweet and hard working. The activities staff for example, do a great job during the day keeping everyone busy, and then an awesome job at night entertaining with a large variety of dance numbers, live music etc... Very impressed with their talent. If you're looking for great surf, some of the best waves in the area are right out front of this hotel. Board rentals are available all over town, and also next to the hotel pool. Be prepared for a rough ride traveling to and from the airport. Some of the roads are paved, but most of them are dirt roads with large holes. Supposedly, most of these roads will be paved within 2 years.

| When we arrived at the Playa Langosta we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel was all inclusive. We received 3 buffet meals a day, all drinks including alcoholic drinks were included in the price of the room. They had a gorgeous pool and spa. The beach was beautiful however there were not a lot of places to lie out on the beach. The staff was very friendly and the quality of the rooms were superb. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and even provided fine robes in the room. They had great night activites and a lot of activites for adults as well as children. I would highly reccommend this hotel to any type of travelr.
