Mainly British crowd family oriented. Not much of the night life, but a beatiful beach and all watersports equipment is in avery good condition. All-inclusive plan has good food quality, but variety doesn't impress.

We arrived early evening, checked in, and were show to our room by the most unfriendly bellhop on the island. Room only had 1 king bed and we had booked for a family of 3...Useless bellhop offered no help whatsoever (strike 1). I went to the front desk and when I asked...I was told that housekeeping was gone and that we should share the bed for the night--how convenient. Manager on duty offered no other alternative and I even had to beg for a 3rd pillowand an extra towel (strike 2). Next day we tried to get beach towels around 11:30....not going to happen as they only give out beach towels during specifc hours (no signs posted as to those hours, but it is something like 9-11 and 3-5....which I'm guessing that they tell you at the daily information meeting for new guests---only nobody ever bothered to tell us about that meeting either! (strike 3) Food on property is good enough, but will get a bit old for people staying longer than a couple days. Rooms had A/C and were adequate (once they wheeled in the cot for my daughter). Maybe all the staff we ran into were new, but on the whole they were not nearly as customer focused as they should be. We had a whole additional slew of mis-information and conflicting information regarding everything from excursion trips to meals. Count me out....

The room was comfortable, but a complete renovation including new bathrooms and air conditioning. The resort is situated on one of the best beaches in Antigua and the staff is warm and friendly.

This is an older property- rooms are "tired" but very clean and comfortable. Not a place if you need all the "bells & whistles". Magnificant beach, very comfortable to sit- Wonderful sunsets! We chose the all inclusive plan- food was at best "adequate" . Breakfast was wonderful, lunch at the beach bar was essentially grilled burgers, chicken and salad. Dinner ranged from adequate to awful. Staff were very friendly and eager to please. The guests were mostly European. Screens on the windows and doors would allow for ocean breezes instead of air conditioning or mosquito bites. The chief would do better to use local fish & produce.

I spent 8 nights(11-19 Aug)5 of which with NO running water in the room. After several complaints and requests the hotel just provided 2 bottles of water daily. The hotel needs huge renovations. The food is lousy and expensive. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The beach, Dickenson Bay, is fantastic and the hotel is very close to ST.John's, the main town. Antigua is a wonderful and friendly island and this hotel is ruining its reputation and gives a bad impression to first comers to the island.

This is the most disgusting place in Antigua. It is single handedly ruining the repetation of Antigua. The staff is disrespectful, and unconcerned about the needs of the tourist. We waited for hours to get a face cloth and when we did, it was a rag! Flat pillows, paper thin worn and torn sheets, leaking air conditioning. Our whole experience was awful.

Nicley kept large hotel facility. Rooms were clean, people were nice. You dont have a answering service on your phone in your room so the front desk takes you messages but them relaying the messages to you takes awhile. Food was ok, we opted for a non-inclusive plan and I am much happier we did that. We able to experience more local foods in town and at different restaurants.

I was put in a room where the air conditioning was not working. It took two days and an assistant manager to discover the a/c was badly in need of the cleaning of its filter. I was placed in a superior room poolside for the duration of my ten day stay. This room was fine but I certainly earned it!

The hotel will be undergoing major renovations. My room was comfortable. However, the couple traveling with me were not so fortunate. Their room was smaller, darker and less comfortable. I am not sure whether it was a function of price or luck. It is not what this hotel used to be. The service needs to improve.
