Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort Amenities

Complimentary coffee is available all day in the lobby, which features a gas fireplace, a self-serve cappuccino/latte machine (small fee), and a kiosk offering for-rent videos. A ski shop rents out skis and snowboards and sells equipment and apparel. Supervised children's activities are available near the lake during summer.

Recreation
The resort includes two tennis courts (fee for play) and a beach-volleyball net. Other recreational activities listed below are available near the resort; fees may apply. Winter activities nearby include snowmobiling, dog sledding, sleigh riding, sledding, and snowshoeing. Additional summer activities nearby include ballooning and mountain climbing.

Features
What to expect: Secluded on a private, quarter-mile beach of golden sand and offering a private pier for boating, the 20-acre resort supplies tranquility and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and its surrounding mountains. Towering ponderosa pines buffer the resort's street side. Closer to the lake, trees thin out, allowing the lake and mountains to be seen in their full glory.

Amenity highlights: A lakefront pool complex, consisting of a heated pool, a children's wading pool, and a six-person spa, opens in summer. Warm weather also brings out barbecue grills on an adjacent deck and lounge chairs for sunning. Near the street, another pool and eight-person spa remain heated and open year-round in a courtyard next to a terraced garden. Nearby in the main building are a sauna and men's and women's locker rooms.

Insider tip: The resort provides shuttle service to Heavenly Ski Resort's gondola and its California and Nevada base lodges and to shopping, dining, and attractions throughout South Lake Tahoe.

In winter only, all guests have the option of a complimentary Continental breakfast served in the Lakeshore Room or lobby every morning.

Lakeland's atmosphere is private and secluded even amist the hustling of Tahoe. Private beach is a must have. Room is a little dated but didn't spend too much time there to worry about it! Pleasant staff. Would stay there again.

The room was more than I expected (king deluxe studio). The kitchen was good for making small meals but I would not plan on using it for a 3 course meal. The private beach was very clean and close. We were in walking distance to a local marina for all boat and jet ski rentals. Also only 4 miles away from the boarding docks for the Dixie II, I reccommend the cruise but skip the meal! I had a great experience with this resort!

Great place to stay for several days. The private beach is really convenient, albeit a bit narrown. We stayed there for a couple of nights and we were assigned a room a few feet away from the busy boulevard. THe room was really noisy. Avoid! There are 2 pools. The bigger one is close to the boulevard as well, and quickly in the shadows. The second pool is close to the beach but very small... There is a snack bar close to the beach as well, but food is quite expensive.

The location for South Tahoe was great and the shuttle service was wonderful and appreciated. We parked our car and didn't have to get back into it again until we left. They take you anywhere in South Tahoe area and pick you up. We never waited more that 10 minutes to get picked up and all the drivers were great. The room were nice, beach front property was beautiful as well. We will definitely return..

The room was very old and run down. We didnt even stay due to to size and quality of the resort compared to the description and pictures. I would not recommend this resort. For the money, youm can get a much better deal!

It was the cheapest townhouse vacation home we could find. It got a great water front and conveniently located. However, the front desk was rude and room services was slow. We didn't even get enough towels and called twice asking for more.

If you get the chance to come up for the 4th of July, this is the place to be!!! The make it a real party for the whole family. The catered barbecue all day, along with the live band on the beach, were a perfect way to lead up to the fireworks shows at night. I can't wait till next year!!

Had a good experience in hotel-stayed in hotel section. Location was great-far enough away from really busy area (stateline casinos/heavenly ect.) but close enough to get there and other activities. Grocery and convient store close by. The lake is a short walk and gorgeous. Went on 4th of July weekend-very busy but fun. Friendly staff-always seemed cheerful. Only thing kinda bad was view of parking lot but we were ok with that.

Everything was excellent. Only negatives were pool looks larger than it really is on virtual tour. Its quite small. They do have another pool away from the lake. Wireless internet access $9.95 per day.
