| I stayed at the Sunterra Flamingo from 7-3-2006 to 7-8-2006. The hotel is being renovated so only one elevator was working which is a pain if you're on the 4th floor. The pool was out of service the entire time. If you're not a beach person or a strong swimmer having a pool nearby is a big plus! The room had a weird smell, and the hotel is way off the main road. You'll have to hike up and down hills with no sidewalks, or cab it everywhere! Unless of course you're brave enough to drive which is another nightmare!

| This was a fantastic island and the hotel was absolutely wonderful. Our room was located on the beach and the view was spectacular. The hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. The food was great. We will be back next year this time for two weeks instead of one.

| Young family or empty nesters - this is the place! Well appointed rooms, exceptionally nice pool and beach area with gentle rolling surf. Planned evening activities and entertainment throughout the week. Very nice rooms perfect for the beach week stay - very new, clean, all tile. No real restaurant on premise but pretty good one right next door. Connected beach bar and grill. Good breakfast and lunches but so sloooow. Short walk to a smallish store with all the basics. Parking spaces (and cars) are small but will certainly be back! Family with teens will want a place with more waves and people traffic.

| Even though our room was a studio, there was plenty of space for 2 adults and two kids - including privacy!!! Great kitchen, daily maid service, good location - after exploring the whole island, this is one of the best places to stay!

| One of the best places that I have stayed in St Maarten! I have now stayed at this resort 5 times. The only downfall is that you may have to ask for room/maid service, but you only have to ask once, and they will be right there. There are plenty of people to help you, especially with free use of beach chairs and umbrellas.
