| The room was a lot better than I had anticipated. Good value for the money. It's a large room, good for two, and very quiet. The continental breakfast was very nice, a great variety of foods and presented well. The front desk staff was not very knowledgeable, and at times not very interested. No one was helpful in making suggestion on sights or activities. On the other hand the housekeeping staff and maintenance were quite pleasant and helpful. The location is on the other side of Canal Street, about two blocks away from the very beginning of the French Qtr. It's a bit dodgy, but relatively safe...Just be aware of your surroundings.

| Cotton Exchange is a cute little hotel located outside of the New Orleans area. Service there was phenomenal! Felt very catered to and the Continental breakfast was good. The Hotel is great if you just need a place to rest your head in New Orleans. Nothing incredibly fancy but I enjoyed myself while I was there.

| The hotel is very old but very well maintained. It is also in the heart of everything. We were able to walk to the casino as well as the french quarter and not miss a beat.

| The staff at the Cotton Exchange Hotel was fabulous! The location was just blocks away from the Warehouse Dist and just one block from French Quarter. We felt very safe walking around, even late at night. New Orleans is working hard and making a comeback. It was a great a great week-end!

| This hotel is currently remodeling therefore, the public areas look a little run down. However, the location can't be beat. It's less than a five minute walk into the French Quarter. The service was excellent. The continental breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and well maintained. All in all, I felt that this hotel was a great deal for the price. I would certainly stay there again.

| We enjoyed staying the stay at the Cotton Exchange. I was concerned with the condition before arriving since I had heard some negative things about hotels in New Orleans and some of the outlying areas were pretty scary looking. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. It was within walking distance to all of the things we were there to see: Harrah's, the Riverwalk mall and the French Quarter. We did not have to drive or take the trolley anywhere. The breakfast was good and there was lots of variety of things to eat. We did not see a lot of other people in the hotel but we also did not hear them which was a good thing. We paid to valet our car because it was more secure, but if we needed it, it was easy to get the car out and in of the parking. The negatives were the street lights were out in the area when we were there so it was kind of dark, which was scary the first night, but we were used to it the second night and some of the housekeeping staff did not speak English very well so there was a small communication issue. There was a moldy smell in the hallway. It probably would have been better if there was a little more air circulation in the hall. Overall the stay was very relaxing and enjoyable and the value for the room was good.

| The room we had was comfortable and just the right size. No view from the window. Bathroom was good. The walls were thin and it was a bit noisy being by the elevators. Good continental breakfast. Small but nice pool on the roof. We would stay here again because the price was right and the location was excellent! Staff was nice also.
