| We booked 2 rooms for 2 families with kids and both families enjoyed to stay there. Rooms, swimming pool, parking and surrounding areas were clean. We were not disturbed by laughing or loudly speaking neighbors in the middle of the night. Hotel personnel was very attentive to our needs. One of our fellow travellers left (somehow!?) his credit card at the reception area - he called to same day to the reception and card was sent to his home address without dalays. Next our trip to San Diego we are planning to stay there again.

| This hotel is located about 8 miles south of downtown and was a godsend. We were traveling to San Diego on leisure and wanted to stay near the city, but not in the city and pay the higher prices. So, we decided on the Travelodge, Southbay. The room was very spacious and clean, had an excellent pool and the hotel staff was very attentive to our wants and needs. They were even nice enough to suggest places to eat and places to visit while in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers who want to stay in San Diego, but not in the city. :-)
