| I booked this motel because of the location (right next door to Magic Springs theme park). As soon as I arrived I knew I was in trouble. The grass was unmowed and the building was in need of paint. The room was extremely outdated with worn sheets and torn bed spreads. The carpet and furniture was stained with tears and cigarette burns. The door to the room was sagging and the flimsy chain lock had been installed backwards so it did no good at all. All of the concrete around the building was cracked and shifting and the pool wasn't much better. There was even a pile of old plywood and furniture in the courtyard. The continental breakfast was only donuts and cereal. If anyone out there is in the hotel business with some remodeling and TLC this place could be a gold mine due to it's being the only place to stay near Magic Springs. Until then I'll be staying in town.
