| The room was very nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed room service for lunch and breakfast. The food was very good and the staff were very friendly. The pool was not my favorite it would have been much nicer if it had been outside.

| We've stayed at the Vanderbilt Marriott twice...once in June '05 and the second time for two nights on June 15 and June 16. It's a lovely hotel, the rooms are attractive and spotless, and the service is extremely responsive. With a wedding party going on one evening, and multiple daily conferences taking place, it was still peaceful and relaxing. Beds are great, breakfast omelettes were delicious, and we will definitely return.

| The Marriott Vanderbilt proved itself to be the quality of all other Marriott hotels that I've had the pleasure to stay in. Clean, friendly, professional and the hotel was extremely close to any number of restaurants that you might be hungry for! My only complaint about the hotel is the $14/day parking. Ouch!

| My only complaint -- they really need to give directions on how to work the electronic thermostats. I found it very confusing.

| I'd never been to Tennessee but, after visiting a few other major cities recently (Boston and Chicago), I knew I wanted to be "in the thick of it" as much as possible and was very satisfied with the location of the hotel. Although I had my car, the hotel had a shuttle van that could take you just about anywhere at any time, so I found that very helpful and helped me relax into the city.

| This hotel was great. The staff was very accommodating -- they allowed us to host a bachelorette party in the hotel bar. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Room service was slightly expensive, but was very quick. Also, the valet service was great. Our car was ready whenever we needed it, which I find rarely happens at other hotels.
