| The hotel is in the Embassy area and within walking distance of the National Zoo and a number of restaurants. By day it is very pleasant but by night it becomes too near the trouble spot of Dupont Circle. However, we experienced no personal problems as the Manager had given us good advice.

| The hotel is small and the hallways dark and damp. It appears the building has not been painted or redecorated in quite some time. The elevator just fits two to three comfortably and was a little scary! The bathroom is clean but very small and dated. Th carpet felt sticky but the room seemed clean... that said... The staff was accomodating, the location very good and the price affordable. We stayed only one night which was quite enough!

| I was pleasently surprised considering that the hotel had 1 and 1/2 star rating. The room was clean and spacious, working A/C, comfortable beds... The area where the hotel is located is just gorgeous, quiet, but close to everything. Great deal for a short term stay.

| The hotel is located between Dupont Circle and Woodley Park and ZOO. and an easy walk to metro stops uptown and down town- also a short walk to Phillips Gallery and Textile museum. Good restaurants in neighborhood, which seems safe. Hotel is, I gather, from early 30's and shows its age. Our bath did not have a mat, and bottom of tub was a little slippery. There was no safety bar in the tub. This may be of concern to older travelers. Staff was nice and muffins-bagels breakfast adequate. Location is very good. Although I can recommend it, I would also look at other hotels in the area in this price range, such as the Normandy.

| Windsor Park gives a welcome option to the chain hotels. It is small and personal with friendly helpful staff. The location is fabulous--a short walk to Woodley Park Metro and easy to get cabs. Restaurants and shops nearby, neighborhoods to explore. Hotel is like a modest European hotel. Bathrooms and furnishings could use some updating, but all very clean and working. If you want a doorman and a jacuzzi, stay somewhere else. This hotel has great value.

| My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for one night on our 3-day trip to d.c. It was the only place we could afford without breaking the bank for the monday night! It was clean and great for the one night especially due to its location near the zoo -- the bus stop is very close. I highly recommend it if you are on a budget!

| Windsor Park Hotel is a smaller older hotel near Emabassy Row in Washington, DC. The rooms were neat and clean with large closets and a cute bathroom. Small refrigerator in the room was nice. Continental breakfast daily. Easy walk to Metro station. I would stay there again.

| This is a nice little hotel, reasonably priced for DC, and is usually available at times when the more well known hotels fill, or fill to the point only expensive rooms remain. I would stay there more but usually need to be closer to where I visit. Proximity to the metro, and Connecticut Ave. make it a good choice when I can't stay close.
