I had done a fair amount on internet research before choosing the French Quarter Inn, and I was not disappointed. The Inn was beautiful, the staff was wonderful, and we had an amazing vacation. While in the Inn, it is hard to remember that you are in the heart of downtown Charleston. Shopping, restaurants, and history are only steps away. I would definitely reccomend the French Quarter Inn for anyone travelling to Charleston.

Excellent location. Most places of interest are within walking distance. Large bathrooms with quality fixtures and cosmetics. The atmosphere in the lobby was congenial. It was easy to meet other guests during breakfast, cocktail hour and dessert to get recommendations for restaurants and activities. Not much of a view from anywhere in the hotel.

We arrived in Charleston late at night, and called ahead to ask for directions. By the time we arrived, the valet was ready for us, and the front desk had our keys ready. After a long drive, the champagne was very welcome, and so were the cookies in the lobby. The public areas were very comfortable, the location is great, the rooms were immaculate. Huge bathrooms. Everything beyond expectations. Staff very helpful in recommending nearby places to eat.

My husband and I picked this hotel at random. I cannot wait to go back again. I have stayed at some very nice hotels before, but the French Quarter Inn is my all-time favorite. We were treated like family. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgable.
