Features
What to expect: Northern Virginia’s high-tech corridor houses companies such as IBM and Lockheed Martin, which draw corporate travelers to this five-story hotel during the week. Families and leisure travelers check in on weekends, using the hotel as a base to explore Washington and its suburbs. Comfortable yellow-brocade sofas are grouped around the lobby’s two electric fireplaces, with ample reading material for waiting hotel guests.

Amenity highlights: The hotel offers complimentary scheduled shuttle service within three miles, including the Vienna metro stop, on the line to Washington, D.C. Guests can also use an indoor splash pool and spa tub, fitness room, and 24-hour business center.

Insider tip: Ten miles from the hotel is Great Falls Park, a wooded gem that's often overlooked. The 800-square-mile park offers a unique view of the Potomac River, which forms waterfalls and ferocious rapids before it becomes the stately waterway of the capital. Within the park are the remains of the Patowmack Canal, built in the late 1700s.

The Great American Grill - Breakfast in this 60-seat restaurant off the lobby is a buffet, with cooked-to-order omelets and egg dishes. At lunch, the buffet turns into a soup-and-salad bar (open only on weekdays). Dinner is à la carte.

Lounge - Seven stools surround this L-shaped bar, which is behind the dining room and adjacent to the buffet tables.

We had a great stay! Although, the lounge & room service should be open until 11 PM (not 10 PM) & the pool hours should be expanded (short on weekdays), but overall, courteous staff & clean, comfortable room! Thanks again!

I stay at alot of hotels, and Hilton is always far and away the best of any of them. I stayed one night at this Hilton Garden Inn hotel for a wedding I was in town for. It was so nice to find friendly front desk staff, huge sparkling clean room, total quiet, and the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on (wish I could buy one for my house!). Outstanding.

This hotel was excellent. The staff was professional, personable and genuine. Unfortunately, depsite having wireless and LAN connectivity the internet access was awful. The hotel manager was aware of the problem with the server company and advised 'they were working on it'. Despite that it was well worth the money.

A true Gem of a hotel. The staff is both long-tenured, and competent. Not to mention truly helpful and friendly. The food quality is a complete shocker! It is AWESOME. Great Chef, attractive presentations, and competent wine list.

No real restaurants close by but, plenty within a short driving distance. Great central location if you're wanting between Dulles and downtown DC. I was apprehensive about the price, at first. However when my 2 guys came back from the business trip, they had nothing but rave reviews. Well worth the money.

Very friendly and helpful people, I loved the cookies at 5 p.m. and how they gave free ethernet cables for me to use. I'm a rookie business traveler and it was great!
