| Hotel is very nice with a great lobby. Everything you need for a weekend getaway is conveniently closeby. Great shopping, food, movies all within a mile. You don't even have to take a car to enjoy the great shops. This hotel is a little pricey, but provides great service. Will definitely stay here again.

| We wished we could have stayed a week. The staff was friendly and always available to assist you with your needs. The room and bar (to include the Starbucks coffee bar)more than met our needs. We will return to the hotel on our next trip to Austin.

| My husband and I stayed here for a night during our recent move and were very happy with the hotel. Not a luxury spot, but still nice. The beds were very comfortable and the room was super quiet (I'm a really light sleeper). One small complaint was that there is no mini-bar, but there is a little kiosk in the lobby that sells sodas, milk, baked goods, ice cream, etc. and very reasonable prices. If we are ever without a home in Austin again, we would certainly consider the Renaissance for another stay. Note that if you are in Austin for a vacation, you will definitely need a car to see the sights from here as it is about a 10-15 minute ride from downtown and tourist attractions. That said, it's within walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants (although mostly of the chain variety).
