| Location is great. A half a block from the airport shuttle; a 10 minute walk to the train station; walking distance to shopping, basillica, and other attractions. Ask for an air-conditioned room. Fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast - fascinating machine.

| People that attended a conference in Toulouse with me were scattered over many hotels around the city. After talking with them it was claer that my stay in this hotel was proabbly the best combination of price and comfort. The hotel has nice size rooms (I have been in micro-rooms in other European hotels), is right next to one of the stops of the city-airport bus, is across the street from a bus terminal, has a very good breakfast for the price, provides FREE wireless network access that works well, and has very friendly staff. If I go back to Toulouse, I will stay in this hotel again.

| This is a 2 star hotel that I highly recommend. I have stayed there now three times in the past few years, and it is exactly what I want from a hotel: pretty clean, good bed, quiet, simple, good location and cheap. The hotel has also better quality rooms that a bit more expensive which I don't usually take because I don't need it (except once when I was with my wife).

| Typical European tourist hotel. Converted from an older building. Rooms were small but clean. Close to major tourist sights - easy walking - and on the bus route that between center city and the airport. Also near the train station. Would definetely stay there again.

| While the average American may not consider this adequate accommodation, the more forgiving traveler will probably find Le Clocher de Rodez a good place to cheaply rest while exploring the delights of Toulouse. True, the passageways are narrow, and rooms exceedingly small; but the hotel is warm and quiet, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Renovation is probably overdue, but then you are hampered by the limits of the 200 year old architecture. It is apparent from the efforts on the ground floor that refurbishment is happening, if slowly.Service is warm and friendly, with staff happy to try their English if your French is not up to scratch. The buffet-style breakfast is great value (costing 7 Euros per day per person as of December 04).Location-wise, the hotel is not in the best neighborhood, but is extremely convenient, being 10 minutes walk from the Place du Cap, a block from a street full of restaurants, and right outside the Jeanne d'Arc statue and bus station. All in all, this hotel is a good choice to stay in if you're looking for someplace to recover from jetlag, and a base from which to explore the city on foot. If you want to be waited on hand and foot however, or are seeking more luxury, you'd be wise to look elsewhere.
