Features
What to expect: This creatively designed property has a magical, secluded quality despite its suburban location. The hotel curves around the mountain, offering panoramic valley and city views from every point. Popular with vacationing families and celebrating couples, the resort also attracts locals who visit the Top of the Rock restaurant for sunset dinners. Amenity highlights: A free-form, serpentine swimming pool features a swim-through channel and water slide. Four spa tubs are secluded behind rock walls and desert landscaping. Wireless Internet access is available poolside (surcharge). Jogging and hiking trails wind around the butte. Insider tip: Tempe Diablo Stadium, at the base of the butte, is the spring training home of the Anaheim Angels, and part of Arizona's "Cactus League" circuit. The Angels train in February and March.

| My family took me for Mother's Day and the entire family had fun. Our son is 15, he kept himself busy all weekend. We also have a 6 mo old who swam and was content the whole weekend. My husband and I can't wait to go back!

| Built into a Butte made the hotel and grounds a unique experience. Great views and sunsets. More work to get around being on a big hill but worth it.

| ...staff needs an attitude adjustment. With very few exceptions, they are not happy to be at work, and they let you know. Also, hotel charges separately (and steeply) for just about everything other than air and parking.

| We only stayed one night on our way to another destination. It was a beautiful resort in the middle of the highway, which took away from the ambiance. The hum of the highway was ever present. One of the bed sheets had a stain on it...YUK. We got there late and with the time difference, the long wait for food at the Market Cafe and then receiving a wrong food order made for an annoying dinner. They did take the dinner that was not to our liking off of the tab. The service staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool and fitness center spectacular I give it one thumbs up and one thumbs down.

| The hotel was beautiful, wonderful swimming pools and hot tubs located throughout, great restaurant on the Top of the Rock. The only drawback was the constant hum from the freeway; could bother light sleepers.
