| Although we travel extensively, We had no idea what to expect of this hotel since it was our first trip to Capetown and we had no recommendations from any other source but the net.We lucked out. The hotel was lovely,we were given a complimentary upgrade and it was situated perfectly if the waterfront is your choice of location. The service was exemplary.I don't know what more you could ask for from an hotel in this price range.

| Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Felt secure with the key check at the elevator. Staff in the restaurant was very friendly and efficient.(breakfast was included-full breakfast with chef cooking omelets, pancakes, waffles etc.)We stayed on the business floor. Rooms were very nice and clean. Good location, across from the V&A Waterfront. Have stayed all over the US and this hotels is very nice.

| Magnificent seven nights in Cape Town, the view from the balcony in our room of Table Mountain is spectacular. The Commodore is in a fine location to the waterfront, within walking distance. The accommodations were exceptionally comfortable. The staff, I can not say enough about the staff, they were very friendly, sociable and helpful, especially at the 24 hour bar. It was an extremely memorable stay, I can not wait to visit again, next time we will bring the children to Cape Town.
