This home was originally built by Samuel Reed in 1799. Dr. Pitney purchased the colonial-style home in 1833 and in 1848 an addition was built in an Italianate-style. Furnished with period antiques, the dining room, kitchen, maid quarters, and two of the bedrooms are decorated in colonial décor. The Graneville room and four of the bedrooms are in a Victorian Vogue setting. This bed and breakfast provides complimentary amenities including airport transportation, parking, and a gourmet breakfast each morning.

| This bed and breakfast was a pleasantchange from the boardwalk hotels but about the same price. Friendly individualized service. Good breakfast. Updated victorian house was quaint but we preferred the separate newer building. Clean and comfortable but because of the age of the house not recommended for asthmatics.
