| The room was better than I expected based on others reviews, not as small as some indicated. The beds were very comfortable, better than average. Pool and spa were greatly enjoyed by my family. Very convenient location to the IMAX and the Grand Canyon. We all enjoyed our stay and would stay at this hotel again. I have recommended this hotel to friends and co-workers.

| The Grand Hotel was a nice place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon. During the summer months the park is very busy and crowded. We much prefered the calm atmosphere offered by the Grand Hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. We notified the desk staff of a noise problem coming from the room next door. They were very attentive and worked to solve the problem. We much appreciated the laundry facilities and restaurant. Although the restaurant was a little pricey, the service was outstanding. Our family enjoyed the added bonus of the nightly entertainment.

| we had a room with 2 queen beds and we (3 adults) hardly had room to move around. The outside sitting area was nice. We thought it was too expensive for what you received. we were there only one night, and was only in the room to sleep. We were out seeing the sights, could have paid less else where.

| The room was nothing special for the cost. Hotel staff was courteous. However, the lodge restaurant seemed understaffed. It was very difficult to get service unless you flagged someone down.

| We were very happy with the location! A very short drive to the canyon each day! Room was clean and shower hot...but that's about the end of the amendities. Hotel restaurant was pricy with little reason - food was average and the dining room was dark and echo-y.

| We picked this hotel because it had four stars and an impressive website, but the rooms themselves were mediocre. Examples: no alarm clock, a beat up air conditioner, a limited cable package, no soap of any kind, and no plug for our sink drain! The downstairs lobby and restaurant looked impressive, but even with the 10% discount provided to guests the restaurant prices were really high (~$30 for chicken alfredo!) I would be open to trying different hotels should I ever go back to the Grand Canyon again.

| If setting the stage for a wonderful experience to one of natures wonders (Grand Cayon)..this hotel really sets the stage. The atomsphere is country western and takes you back to the "Old West". With a decor that adorns the walls of early times and excellent warmth with a nice open fire, this hotel made our trip to Arizona leaps and bounds ahead our drive visit to the Grand Canyon. You must try this hotel...it leaves nothing to the imagination.

| Better than expected property, with upgrades to the rooms underway. This was a short visit booked online the night before, but everything from the above average room to good returaunt was better than expecetd at a single destination hotel. My family will return for a longer stay in the future.

| Nice hotel. Beds had great mattresses but the polyester blend shhets had some age and were "pilled," resulting in less than ideal comfort. The food in the restaurant was good but the waiter was marginally attentive.

| We spent two nigths at the Grand. The hotel is OK with a nice but small indoor pool, nice rooms and a fine lobby and bar. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The thing that was very negativ was the adjoining restaurant! We dined there the first evening and ordered both a starter and an entree. After a lomg while my wifes starter and entree came at the same time! We send the entree back and I got my starter after app. 5 min. When it was time to have both our entrees my wifes entree came back all dried up after app. 30 min. under a heating lamp! Just not good enough! We got a new one without struggle but I had already got mine and had to wait for my wifes entree to be served... Food was OK but not great and certainly not worth the wait! Besides the restaurrant the public toilets in the lobby was very dirty.
