| I stayed here during a recent business trip and it was just fine for the night. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The location was just perfect. It's in walking distance to all the great shops and retaurants in downtown Birmingham. If you are looking for 5 star hotwel with tons of amentities, this obviously isn't the place but it was perfect for resting my head for the evening. The staff was great and the even offered breakfast in the morning.

| The pictures make this seem like a charming hotel, but upon our arrival, it is more of a roach coach motel. It is disgusting! The shower was moldy, the comforter was dirty and cigarette burned, the adjoining room was not locked and we could freely walk into the adjoining room which was not ours. The sheets on the beds are threadbare and covering stained and torn pillows and mattresses. The hallways and vending machine areas are filthy. I could not bring myself to stay in the room for a night and ended up trying to find a new hotel at 10:30pm. I did not feel safe there. Avoid at all costs!!!

| Staff was very friendly. The drain around the shower tub looked moldy and the entire shower needed updating. It was in less than good condition. Other than that, the room was spacious and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was terrific. More like a full course buffet.

| Hotel is a good value for the location. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms inside have been nicely redone. Convenient to lots of great shopping and restaurants. Rooms with doors facing the street can be a bit noisy...a part of the hotel is more like a motel. Good selection of breakfast items.

| I thought it was a nice place. It is hard to find because they have no sign so you might end up driving around for a while trying to find it.

| Problems with my TV remote control. Always clean and plenty of towels. Staff generally very helpful and accomodating. Birmingham/ Bloomfield Hills central location to all the shopping and restaurants in that area. I have stayed there twice now and will be back again.
