| I chose this place because of the price. Sure enough, it was worthy of its 1 1/2 star rating. The bed covers and chair smelled like someone just ran a marathon and used them. And the toilet seat wasn't exactly clean like the seal that it had said it was. If you're just looking for a brief place to stay while you're in the area, it's ok. Don't expect too much. The staff was real nice and friendly though.

| Secure, comfortable bed. They forgot to get me towels the second day, then couldn't find enough. They were good enough to extend me an extra day, then called four times, starting at 10 AM, demanding immediate payment for the extra day, in the next 90 minutes... I'd worked on the computer till 3 AM and was dead tired. I finally had to run down half-dressed to pay them make them shut up. Then the maids called incessantly to want to make up the room. No sleep THAT night! As I walked out, the maids were arguing loudly and obscenely. Sounded like a scene out of "BIG" with Tom Hanks. But the desk clerks were polite, the rate was cheap for the area, and everything else was full. No bed bugs, no weirdos.

| Good hotel when you visit DC and only need a place to sleep for a few dollars. No luxury! Only comment is that the breakfast is not sufficient! Good connection to metro when you want to go downtown.

| Bad smell in elevator, lobby was really trashy, rooms ok except tv reception fuzzy. Would not recommend.

| but then again i was not looking to spend much so it served its pourpose rooms were big but the beds were small in comparasion ,but it was fine i would stay there again if i had to

| The staff was tops..........and that is the only positive I have. AC worked off and on Towels were worn tub was not cleaned well. only 1 hair dryer on property. For a few dollars all above could turn to +

| Desk staff was friendly and tried to be helpful with directions (I got lost walking from the metro station). Walls in the hall were banged up and the wall paper next to the shower was moldy. Otherwise the room was clean.
