| This is a small 26-room historic hotel with personalized desk service...they arranged whale watching at the Baie de Ste. Catherine...and it has an adjacent restaurant that is wonderful. You are across the street from the old market, within a great 15-minute stroll to the Petite Champlain and Place Royale. Parking is directly across the street (for an extra cost), and the Palais de Gare (train station) is a 10 minute walk. The hotel is very European in style, rooms are small but adequate and the service more than helpful and friendly. My husband and I traveled with our 2 teens and all of us would go back and stay at the St. Paul. Tres, tres bon...very, very good!

| Not much service at arrival. The room was lousy, outdated, don't have normal table, and the bed was uncomfortable. I didn't like it. The hotel is located a short walking distance to old Quebec. (Close to one of the tourism center) This is the good thing about the hotel.

| Close to the train station by walking, as well from Plaza Royal. I found it very convinient and as a good choice for my weekend at Quebec. Safe zone around and nice gallaries of painters as well as friendly and nice small restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. I could see the river from my window. All I needed to enjoy the last weekend of the Summer Festival of Quebec.

| We were in Quebec City for the Winter Carnaval. The previous year we had been there and stayed at a nerby hotel taht was booked this year. We ate at the restaurant in the same building as the St. Paul so knew the location. The hotel is small only a few rooms but very near the railroad statiuon in the lower city in a great neighborhood of antique shops and restaurants. The rooms were small but comfortable and the mattress needs replacing but it sutied our needs very well. The staff were polite and helpful. The restaurant uses the same door as the hotel but may not be connected. It is very good. "Le Peche Venial" It offers breakfast and a very popuar brunch on Sunday.

| Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet and the curtains did a good job of blocking any light. The bathroom counter was a bit small. An iron and ironing board would have been convenient, although one may have been available if I had asked. Would definitely stay there again!

| During a recent business trip to Quebec I stayed at this hotel. It is at the outskirts of the old part of the city and just a short walk from the center of the old city. There are some really nice resturants nearby, and the hotel has a wireless network (that works in some rooms but not all)so some useful work can be done while there. I can recommend this place to fellow travelers.

| Stayed at the hotel from 11/26-11/28. Wasn't too hard to find, parking was right across the street for $7 or so Canadian. There was a restaurant there which we didn't check out. We tried for breakfast the morning we left, but there were no tables available. The rooms were very big, nicely decorated. We had the last two on the 3rd floor, there was exposed brick, sitting area, decent view. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, greeted us in English and by name when we entered. We were prepared to attempt to speak French to them, but there was no need, which was nice. The location was very good. In the old city, just a few streets down from the heart of it. Not even a 5 minute walk.
