| Plastic door key wouldn't open after three new key attempts. Got another room, but one of the pillows were missing and the washcloths hadn't been put away (possibly used). One of the beds had been used. I wouldn't go back again.

| There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and it smelled. The room was not cleaned very well. It was difficult to get service (extra towels, etc). The walls were paper thin. We were kept awake at night by people outside shouting and slamming doors, which management did nothing about. Perks: near King's Dominion and many restaurants. And the town of Ashland is cute and historic.

| The Super 8 in Ashland, VA was our first stop on a drive down to North Carolina's Outer Banks. For the money, the place was terrific -- certainly a better buy than our room in Nag's Head. The bed was fine, the shower was very good/strong, the TV worked well, and the breakfast was quite adequate. Everything was clean and well maintained. The check in and check out was done pleasantly. We did not have a chance to try the swimming pool, but the kids who were in it seemed to be having fun. I would certainly recommend the Super 8 for anyone passing through or anyone planning on more than a day's trip to King's Dominion.

| I was not at all satisfied. There is no elevator that I could find. Heading to the room there was general uncleanliness (dirt, trash, etc). The room door did not seal because half of the gasket was gone. There was no trimwork on the inside of the door above the door knob. The lamp did not work, tissue dispenser hanging crooked by one screw where there were two at some time, sink was dirty, toilet was dirty, very low water pressure (the shower was actually a trickle), no soap in the room (called front desk, expecting them to bring me some, had to go get my own). I will never stay here again and suggest you find someplace else.

| I wore white socks around the room and discovered that the bottoms were black from the dirty floor! The toilet overflowed a lot and the ice machine was always empty from too many people filling up their coolers.

| Got to hotel by use of an alley street. Didn't like the fact of being that far back off the street. Our room door didn't close all the way, you could hear the air coming in through the seal. The toilet had a short toilet lid on an elongated toilet and it ran constantly. The floor had not been vaccummed. The clean wash clothes had hair in them. The cable kept going in and out. When I awoke the next morning, I had about 30 bug bites on my legs(can't figure that one out).
