Features
What to expect: Nestled in the crook of an elbow formed by the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the channel connecting the Gulf and the Atlantic on the other, this casual, family-friendly resort includes playground equipment and features grounds lushly planted with tropical gardens, including 32 species of fruit and nut trees such as Barbados cherry and strawberry guava. Amenity highlights: A wood walkway over a pond leads into a central garden open to the Gulf. The garden contains a large, heated, free-form pool with a toddler-friendly sloping beach entry. An expansive sand area extending from the pool to a small opening to the Gulf is furnished with thickly padded wood lounge chairs, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. A water-activities center rents Jet Skis, kayaks, speedboats, pontoon boats, and snorkel and fishing gear and conducts snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving, dolphin-watching excursions, and sunset-cruise excursions. (Guests are not permitted to tie boats to the resort's dock but may moor them in the bay near the dock.) Insider tip: Each Wednesday, the resort provides a complimentary margarita party by the pool and twice weekly offers pottery painting classes for a fee.
The resort does not have its own restaurant (although the water-sports center serves tropical drinks), but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. Nearby restaurants: Denny's Waffle House Chili's

| This is a perfect family vacation resort. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean. You will love this place if you are traveling with children; having the kitchen is very convenient. The pool area is very nice.

| Very nice place to rest away from the crowd of Key West Downtown. A place for families. You will find everything that you want in an away home. Bring groseries, there is not a walking distance restaurant or place to drink a coffee.

| Wow! This hotel was absolutely amazing. It was everything that I expected and more- it really took our breath away. The pool was perfect temperature and everything was so clean. The staff were really friendly and willing to help book outings. I was really impressed because if another outing was cheaper than the outings that they offered, they let me know- something that doesn't happen often. The room was perfect as we went with another couple and each had our own space and didn't feel confined to one another.

| Beautiful hotel; stayed in suite with 6 people altogether, plenty of room for all. Spacious, clean suites with great view & very large, comfortable balcony. Only 4 miles from Duval st; cab fare cost less than parking &/or a DUI would anyway! Highly recommend.

| This is the second year in a row we have stayed here. In 13 year of travel to the Keys this is our absolute favorite hotel. The master bath is wonderful and like a spa. The condo is great if you have kids or another couple with you. It is very quiet which is great if you had been out doing the Duval Crawl the night before or if you just want to get away from the hussle and bustle of downtown. The concierge was really great this time and hooked us up with an exscursion we had not tried before and is now our favorite. They also can get you discounts as well. Planning our trip for next year at the same place. Hats off to Hyatt and another wonderful vacation.
