| I liked Chenay Bay. I love the warm water of the bay. There were lots of pretty fish to see. My mom and I really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool was okay but I could not touch the bottom. I liked the dining room and food especially the peanut buttter and jelly sandwiches. The cats, weasels, geckos, birds, frogs, and sea creatures were fun to see. I would like to visit again. Isabelle

| Chenay Bay was very nice. I loved that we could bounce back and forth between the pool and beach so easily. The watersports center was also a nice perk. I enjoyed the privacy of having our own cottage. The only downside was a youth group that was there during most of our stay. I was disappointed that no one from the staff reprimanded their behavior by the pool. They were constantly yelling and horsing around (as teenage boys tend to do). And although the resort is not far from Christiansted, I highly recommend renting a car.

| My husband and I really enjoyed our stay of 6 days. We were in an Oceanview Room - walking right out of our front door, just a couple of steps down to the pool, and out into the ocean to snorkle right off the hotel beach. The best part of the hotel was the seclusion, the pool barely had 2 or 3 people in it (besides my husband and myself) for our entire stay. The refrigerator, stove and microwave in the room really spoiled us and saved us a lot of money over the 6 days. The restaurant staff was friendly and the lobster was excellent, but the selections were few and you really need a car to get around to see the nightlife and other eateries.

| The rooms were very nice. The office staff very receptive to your needs. However, the entire Island is very laid back and not in a rush to do anyhting. If exact schedules are your way of vacationing then this Island is not for you. No clocks can be found and 10AM appointments usually mean noon. IF total relaxation and a slow pace are what you want then this is your place. Food was good, but expensive. This was true for the entire Island.

| Our stay at Chenay Bay Resort was just what the doctor ordered. The Hotel was exactly was we had hoped for and expected. This is a great place to get away and relax. We enjoyed the restruant, the food was great The beach and surrounding area was quiet just like we wanted. This is not the place to go if you want a lot of night life (we didn't) or constant activites. We were looking for a place to relax and recharge and we got exacly that. I can't wait to return soon. | We made our trip at the end of the tourist season, in May, and found Chenay Bay to be very quiet. Not even close to capacity. Privacy was the order of the day and the staff was very eager to help.

| Chenay Bay has a great beach for walking and some excellent snorkeling. What a lovely spot. Our bungalow was renovated, comfortable, and we enjoyed watching the birds from our deck in the morning during breakfast. The desk staff were nice and helpful about arranging things. The restaurant Island House had some problems with uncomfortable seating, misleading menu choices, and was shut down due to a gas leak at the end of our stay so the steel drum show we were looking forward to was cancelled. Definitely rent a car for at least a few days to get out to see the island and go to other restaurants. The boats on the waterfront need repair, so there were a few disappointments, but Chenay Bay is a quiet, relaxing resort that offers a beautiful environment.

| Chenay Bay is the perfect family vacation destination as long as you are not expecting deluxe accomodations. We took our 8 & 10 year olds with us and felt completely comfortable letting them roam (within reason) around without supervision. We were there over Easter and the staff made sure each child got an Easter basket. I can't say enough positive things about the staff. Everyone went above and beyond hospitality-wise. When I wanted my daughter's hair braided, they called and had someone come to the resort. If you are allergic to or dislike cats, you won't enjoy any meal at the on-site restaurant because they have a "table" cat; one that roams from table to table begging. On an overall basis, it was quiet, laid-back, small enough to feel safe, big enough not to feel crowded and very child friendly.

| We booked this place without ever hearing of it before. We were on our Honeymoon and were very pleasantly surprised. The facility was quiet, clean, and great service everywhere you turned. The bungalows were very well kept up and beautiful inside. Snorkeling was fun and all equipment was included!
