My Stay at Binion's exceeded my expectations. When I arrieved around 11 at night they didn't have a room adaquate for my stay. So the staff at the desk put me into a Suite for the four nights I was there. It was large and spacious. I was really impressed on how well the staff treated me and where willing to put me into a nicer room than I was paying for just to accomindate my needs.

Binions is located right downtown, which is really fun. We only stayed one night but the room was clean and spacious; the bathroom adequate and clean and our floor was fairly quiet. We asked for two beds in non-smoking and we got it. The prime rib at the coffee house was perfect and service both times we ate there was great. My only complaints would be with the parking garage. The garage elevator was tiny and slow, hot and smelly and it was difficult to find your way from the parking garage to the registration desk or elevators to your floor. You have to walk through the entire casino with your luggage in tow. Valet service is three floors up (if I'm going to drive all that way, I might as well park the car myself!) and bell service was no where to be found so I still had to walk from the garage to the registration desk, complete with luggage. Overall, the stay was pleasant and parking was only a moderate inconvenience to the entire experience.

The hotel was good overall and a great value. The valet and the bell people were good but the desk help and house keeping left a slightly bitter taste. Although it may have just been a busy time for the hotel there was no excuse for the poor service received from the desk and house keeping. The casino area was a lot nicer than I had seen in the past and the gambling atmosphere was better than I had expected. The poker area was good too as a WPT host they had games running all of the time and two daily tournaments. Despite there poor attitude I received from the front desk (which may have been due to the hotel being full to capacity) I would still recommend the hotel as a great value.

Well, firstly, stay in the newer tower. The older one is horrible. And the staff, not so helpful or happy. Sure, the "cool kids" and the "beautiful people" don't stay here, but it's really inexpensive and fairly clean, so if you wanna save your money for the $2-$5 tables and the $8 buffets on Freemont Street, this is a good little bargain.Do not expect any sort of glamour or luxury!

Stayed at Binion's Horseshoe during a major convention when Vegas was pretty much sold out. it is an older hotel that shows more than a little wear. My room had air conditioning, a friend's did not. Signs could be placed near the various entrances on how to find the reception desk, which is hidden away. Staff was courteous. My room faced the Fremont Street experience, which in itself is worth a visit to downtown, but loud enough, and frequent enough, to keep me awake for most of the night. The prime rib in the restaurant was much better than I expected for the low price. Budget minded travellers will find value, but until the retro-Las Vegas movement moves into higher gear, others will find the hotel somewhat lacking.

This hotel is old and delapidated. The service was excellent but the room we were in was old and needed to be remodeled. It was also too small for just myself and my girlfriend.

Very disapointed. Light fixture hanging off wall, lamp shades torn, smoke detector missing (took pictures) asked for smoke free room - they sent a maid with a can of room freshener, ice machine didn't work one night. Couldn't even get a complitmentary cup of coffee. Made the bargain motels look good by comparison.
