| While my son was disappointed that the pool was so small, this is a very nice hotel, and it was nice to have "pool" towels provided. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast was excellent, and there was always enough food even if you got there at five minutes before it ended at 10:00 a.m. And if you don't mind staying somewhere a little off the beaten path as it did take about 20 minutes to get to Atlantic City and the Boardwalk, it's well worth the much "less than beach front" prices. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to a friend.

| The employes were courteous & reponsive to my complaints. The first room had a strong odor of bleach & the window curtain was poorly repaired to the point it could not be opened. The desk clerk gave us another satifactory room without any hassle. The rooms are showing signs of deterioration(wall paper peeling, ect). The rates are excessive for the poor condition of the hotel.

| If I had never stayed or worked in a Hampton Inn before, I would never go back. I called the hotel at 7:30am to let them know my party would be arriving around 11a. I understood that checkin was not until 2p, but in my experience, the clerk could have tried to reserve a dirty room and request it to be cleaned first. OR AT LEAST act like he cared and tell me he would TRY. All I got from him was NO can't do it. We get there at 11 tired, cranky, and hungry, and we sat in the lobby for 3 and a half hours. The clerk just didn't seem to care. He even argued with me and said "do you want a dirty room?" I should have said YES! When we checked out, I asked him for a folio, for my daughter's scrapbook, just a momento. Since we reserved from Expedia, he could not give me a receipt. I said SOMETHING to show that we stayed here? A folio? Anything? NO. Can't do it. This guy did not want to think outside of the box. He only did what was required and was not very friendly about it. Room was fine, breakfast was fine. But I will not go back to that hotel!
